YOUR "SERVICE RETAINER" SECURES YOUR TRAVEL ADVISOR FOR YOUR VACATION

By reading this and paying the Service Retainer you have agreed to these terms.

This includes an in-depth consultation and discovery meeting, research and development of the itinerary, revisions and customizations, booking and managing all components, and help and support before traveling, while traveling, and after travel is completed. Components included: Guided tours, hotels and resorts, airfare, rental car, cruise, insurance and airport transfers. You can call or message your personal travel agent any time with questions or concerns and expect a swift response. You will also receive a detailed online virtual itinerary that can be downloaded, printed or viewed in the Trip App on your mobile device. This makes traveling easy, with tickets, confirmations, advice, and suggestions attached to each day on your travel itinerary. You will have everything you need for your vacation right in your hands.

SERVICE RETAINER:

$150 per person, per trip (before discounts/children 17 and under are complimentary with traveling adult)

DISCOUNTS (Please indicate whether you qualify for these in the Traveler Information Form):

VIP DISCOUNT: "Experience Joy VIP" Facebook group members receive a 10% discount, and returning clients receive a 20% discount as a thank you!

GROUP DISCOUNT: A group of 7 or more people traveling together on the same itinerary is reduced to $100 per person.

I have access to the world’s most distinguished premium properties with our partner Virtuoso, which gives you additional services and amenities that enable me to curate memorable and exclusive experiences for you. I will suggest travel partners that are sustainably minded, and impact the communities we visit positively, so you can feel good about your vacation impact on the world.

A personal gift will be delivered to you with travel necessities and special extras you will love on your trip, given to you about 2 weeks before departure.

Often included amenities:

Complimentary breakfast in the hotel restaurant or in-room.

Room/Cabin upgrade (on arrival, subject to availability).

Resort, Onboard Credit, or Spa Credit (usually valued at $100-$200 per person).

Early check-in/check-out (subject to availability).

"Virtuoso Voyages" Choice of extra amenities: Exclusive excursion, private driver, extra bonus onboard credit, and more.

CRUISE, HOTEL AND AIRLINE TICKETING AND PRICING DISCLAIMERS

I offer quality service finding you the BEST travel routes, cruises, accommodations, tours and excursions for your money. I do not charge you more than the listed cost from the vendor, often find you discounted pricing, and make every effort to inform you of accurate pricing before booking.

It is recommended that you plan ahead for the best pricing deals. Last minute bookings can be limited, and therefore more costly.

Please note that prices are TIME SENSITIVE and may change by the hour, so itineraries may vary slightly in price from the original proposal to when the actual booking is made. Hotels, flights and cruises are also subject to being sold out.

Experience Joy Travel Company makes every effort to remind you that your reservation name must MATCH your passport or government ID EXACTLY.

EXPERIENCE JOY TRAVEL COMPANY GENERAL TERMS AND ADVISORIES

This agreement is between you and Experience Joy Travel Company LLC.

Service fees from travel suppliers and travel companies are separate from the cost of the Retainer AND the cost of your travel itinerary.

The "Service Retainer” is a one-time cost per trip. "Trip" is defined as "an itinerary including a starting and ending point, (where the client leaves home being the starting point and returning home being the ending point)."

ALL SERVICE RETAINERS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, whether or not you decide to book travel with Experience Joy Travel Company or cancel your entire trip. Your retainer will be held for your future use in this case, as a courtesy. When you pay the retainer, your service is guaranteed and the work process begins behind the scenes. Research is done for you, as well as task lists created and paperwork completed. All of these things are included in your retainer cost and therefore cannot be refunded in the event that you decide not to travel. By signing this form, you waive your right to charge-backs for traveled trips and cancellations.

This Agreement is separate from your agreements with any travel suppliers, e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators, cruise lines, and any other service suppliers.

 Travel within 15 days will not be accepted. I reserve the right to refuse service to any person.
