TRIP SERVICE RETAINER EXPLAINED


  • The "Trip Service Retainer" for customized travel covers: In-depth consultation, research, development of the itinerary, revisions to finalize a customized itinerary, booking and managing all components, and help and support before traveling, while traveling, and after travel is completed. Your own private travel concierge--a text or email away!
  • We guarantee the value of our service with gifts and perks you receive from using our company. We go above and beyond other travel agencies with our genuine, passionate, heartfelt service.
  • The Trip Service Retainer is per person travelling, and a one-time fee per trip (unless the annual plan is purchased).
  • "Trip" is defined as "an itinerary including a starting and ending point, (where the client leaves home being the starting point and returns home being the ending point)."

  • ADDITIONAL PERKS

    • We have access to the world’s most distinguished premium properties with Virtuoso, which gives us access to additional services and gifts from companies that enable us to curate memorable and authentic experiences for you.
    • When you book with us, we make sure you feel like a VIP by upgrading your booking when possible.
    • You will receive benefits not available by direct-booking or through an online booking engine.
    • These benefits often include:
      1. Complimentary Breakfast for two
      2. Upgrade (on arrival, subject to availability)
      3. Resort, Food & Beverage, or Spa credit (usually valued at $100-$200 per person, per stay)
      4. Early check-in/check-out (subject to availability)

  •  SPECIAL CONCIERGE SERVICES (Optional) 

    • Our Trip Service Retainer cover the logistics of the trip, and includes land arrangements including hotel and airport transfers.
    • For "Special Concierge Services", (such as organizing and booking dining reservations, theater tickets, scheduling special events, beauty treatments, and spa services), our rates are based on the complexity of the events.

  • OCEAN CRUISES DISCLAIMERS

    • Please note that cruise prices are time sensitive and change by the hour, so itineraries may vary slightly in price from the original proposal to when the actual booking is made.
    • Experience Joy Travel Company makes every effort to remind you that your cruising reservation name must MATCH your passport or government ID EXACTLY. 


  • GENERAL TERMS 

    • This agreement is between you, the "LEAD TRAVELER" and Experience Joy Travel Company LLC.
    • All Professional Fees are separate from the cost of your travel.
    • All Trip Service Retainers and Professional Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE, whether or not you decide to book travel with Experience Joy Travel Company or whether you decide to cancel your entire trip.
    • This Agreement is separate from your agreements with any travel suppliers, e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators, cruise lines, and any other suppliers.
